Arran Chambers
Registered Manager
Arran Chambers joined Esland as a Primary Care Practitioner and progressed through multiple roles, including Team Leader and Senior, before becoming Registered Manager at May House. With six years’ experience across residential and adventure-based care, Arran is passionate about creating safe, homely environments where young people can grow, build confidence and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Holly Sanderson
Registered Manager
Holly Sanderson is our Registered Manager for Blakelow Bank, and she's been part of the Esland team since October 2018. Holly started her career with us as a Residential Care Worker, before being promoted to Senior, Deputy Manager and her current role as Registered Manager. Holly works closely with her young person, the home team, and external professionals to ensure care plans are delivered to the highest standards to achieve the best outcomes.

Liam Matthews
Registered Manager
Liam Matthews joined Esland as a Residential Care Worker and progressed through to Senior before becoming Registered Manager at The Retreat, one of our residential homes in the East Midlands. Passionate about resilience, development and positive outcomes, Liam is committed to supporting young people to grow in confidence and independence while building strong, capable teams around them.

Melanie Fletcher
Managing Director of Residential
Melanie Fletcher is the Managing Director of Residential at Esland and has spent several years building her career in a range of senior roles. She first managed homes across the South and Midlands before moving into the Operations Director role, where she achieved consistent good and outstanding Ofsted results. Now, as Managing Director of Residential, Melanie leverages that experience to lead our portfolio of homes and is passionate about creating an environment where both staff and young people can reach their full potential.

Tinashe Chikandamina
Senior Residential Care Worker
Tinashe Chikandamina is a Senior Residential Care Worker at The Grigg, dedicated to creating safe and supportive environments for young people. Having gained experience across several homes, including Lilac Lodge, Holly Lodge, and The Sycamores, she has developed a genuine passion for the work we do at Esland. In her role, Tinashe provides consistent care and guidance, helping young people grow and thrive through positive experiences, engaging activities, and the development of respectful and trusting relationships.

Will Davis
Regional Support Manager
Will Davis is the Regional Support Manager for Lincolnshire and has worked at Esland for over three years. With more than a decade of experience in care, he began as a night staff worker and progressed to home manager before joining Esland as a Registered Manager in 2022. In his current role, Will supports home teams across the region, ensuring they have the resources to thrive. Passionate about creating nurturing environments, he is driven by making a real difference in children’s lives.

Learning & Development Partner
Ayesha Latif joined Esland as a Learning and Development Partner and is currently completing her Level 5 qualification. Passionate about professional growth and positive relationships, she supports teams across multiple regions to deliver high-quality care through confident, well-equipped training.

Denise Nicholls
Business Development Manager
Denise Nicholls is our Business Development Manager, and she’s been with Esland since March 2023. Denise began her career with us as a Registered Manager, where she successfully and consistently raised the standards of one of our residential homes. In her new role, Denise manages the smooth progression of placements between local authorities and our team of registered managers, facilitating seamless transitions for young people.

Miriam Berramou
HR Director
Miriam Berramou is our HR Director at Esland, where she leads the People & Culture business partners and administrator in supporting colleagues across the organisation’s homes, schools, and therapeutic support services. Since joining in 2022, Miriam has focused on shaping policies, enhancing employee experience, and building strong, collaborative relationships across the business. Miriam champions recognition of staff at every level and ensures people remain at the heart of Esland’s journey, creating a culture rooted in respect and kindness.

Sharon Fudge
Recruitment Partner
Sharon Fudge is our Recruitment Partner and she’s responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting candidates who share Esland’s values. She began by recruiting across the Central region before leading the large-scale Shropshire project, which required filling more than 80 vacancies to open six new homes. Sharon works closely with managers to understand their needs and takes pride in finding staff who can provide consistency and care for our young people.

Tony Cox
Head of Estates
Tony Cox joined Esland as Head of Estates in 2020 and has since expanded his role to lead Estates, Fleet and Health & Safety across the organisation. With a hands-on background and a practical approach, Tony is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where homes and schools can focus on what matters most: children.

William Skelton
Assistant Financial Accountant
William Skelton is our Assistant Financial Accountant and began his journey with Esland through an accountancy apprenticeship scheme. During his time with us, William has completed both his Level 3 and Level 4 accountancy qualifications and is currently studying towards his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, which is due to be completed in 2026. In his role, William prepares financial statements and supports the Management Accounts team, while also managing monthly and weekly reporting.

Chris Lawson
Education Support Manager
Chris Lawson is our Education Support Manager and has been with Esland since 2023. After more than a decade teaching in the post-16 sector, he first joined us in a quality assurance role to make a broader impact on education. Today, Chris works closely with the Education Director and Headteachers to support our schools, strengthen our systems, and drive improvement, helping to maintain high standards and ensure our students receive the education they deserve.

James Pointing
Deputy Headteacher
James Pointing joined Esland in 2022 as Deputy Head at Grantham School. Since joining, he has developed extensive leadership experience across school improvement, safeguarding, quality assurance and staff development, including undertaking the role of Interim Headteacher. Passionate about creating positive outcomes for young people, James is committed to supporting both students and colleagues to achieve their full potential.

Naseem Akhtar
Education Director
Naseem Akhtar joined Esland as Education Director in June 2024. She leads the organisation's education provision, working closely with school leaders, staff and external partners to support positive outcomes for children and young people. Passionate about creating opportunities through education, Naseem is committed to ensuring students receive the support they need to engage, achieve and thrive.

Zoe Jefferson
Tutor and PSHE lead
Zoe Jefferson is a tutor and PSHE lead at Esland Daven School. She works with students both one-to-one and in small groups, teaching core subjects and leading lively Citizenship sessions that get everyone talking and thinking. As PSHE lead, Zoe supports young people in building confidence and life skills that matter beyond the classroom. She enjoys creating a warm and positive learning space where students can feel comfortable, have fun, and make real progress.
