Schools Part of Esland Group

Changing children’s lives for the better

At Esland, we help vulnerable young people between 6 and 18 turn the curve on their futures by providing the care, education, and therapeutic support they need.

We are Esland

Our homes, schools and assessment homes provide the safety, nurturing, skills, and qualifications young people need to thrive. Many have encountered adverse childhood experiences, including complex trauma and foster placement breakdowns. Some have mental health issues, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. That’s why everything we do is underpinned by our therapeutic approach to ensure they get the right support.

We break down the walls between education and care by seamlessly blending them together.

7 in 10 young people in the UK have faced adverse childhood experiences by the age of 8. It’s why what we do is so important.

Young people supported

Therapeutic approach

Our in-house therapeutic team provide trauma-informed support to every young person we work with whether in a home or school. Their services include clinical assessments, tailored treatment plans, bespoke interventions, and direct therapy to help children regulate their emotions and behaviours and manage their mental health.

Turning the Curve™

Our Turning the Curve™ education model helps young people gain the skills and qualifications they need to build a bright future. Our model is unique because it incorporates a flexible, child-led curriculum that enables young people to learn in a way that’s right for them and their needs. This could be within one of our homes, schools, or a blend of both.

Are you ready to make a difference?

If you’re looking for a new career opportunity where you can make a difference, feel rewarded and be the change that turns the curve on a young person’s life, then we could be your next career destination.

Quote from Matthew’s mum.

“Esland has saved our family. It was like they helped our son to reprogramme his brain so he can value who and what’s really important to him. Something just clicked. Esland was the best thing that could have ever happened to us.”

We have changed the name to protect the young person’s identity.
