Across Esland this summer, schools have been transforming outdoor spaces into places where children and young people can learn, explore and take pride in their environment through Esland in Bloom 2026.
To mark World Youth Skills Day, we’re celebrating the many ways students across Esland are developing the skills, confidence and experiences they need for the future.
As part of Pride Month, Esland is sharing Finn’s story; highlighting how acceptance, understanding and the right support can help young people feel confident in who they are.

At Esland, therapeutic education is built on one essential belief: when we understand what is driving a child’s behaviour, we can respond in ways that help them feel safe, regulated and ready to learn.
At Esland, we’re continually learning, growing and developing to better support the children and young people in our care. As part of this ongoing commitment, we’re proud to announce that we will be opening a new specialist school in Doncaster in September 2026: Esland Doncaster School.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women across Esland whose dedication, leadership, and passion make a real difference every day. From supporting children and young people to shaping teams and culture, their work has a lasting impact.
This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week and this year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” focuses on the vital role belonging plays in helping children feel safe, valued, and connected- in their homes, in education, and in the world around them.
Esland Shropshire School has reached its one-year milestone since opening in January. In its first 12 months, the school has grown steadily, creating a safe, consistent, and engaging environment where children are supported to develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
