This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women across Esland whose dedication, leadership, and passion make a real difference every day. From supporting children and young people to shaping teams and culture, their work has a lasting impact.
This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week and this year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” focuses on the vital role belonging plays in helping children feel safe, valued, and connected- in their homes, in education, and in the world around them.
Esland Shropshire School has reached its one-year milestone since opening in January. In its first 12 months, the school has grown steadily, creating a safe, consistent, and engaging environment where children are supported to develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
This week, we launched our 2025 Esland Awards, celebrating the incredible work of our teams across the organisation. The awards shine a light on the dedication and impact of those who go above and beyond to support the children in our care.
Esland is inviting local authority colleagues and professionals to explore new ways to support children who have been missing education due to anxiety, trauma, or complex special educational needs.
Esland Bedford School has recently completed an expansion of its learning spaces, creating more opportunities to support children across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northamptonshire.
The Esland Games 2025 brought teams from across Esland together for a summer filled with energy, creativity, and connection. Running from July to September, the Games encouraged everyone to get involved in a mix of activities, from sports and crafts to outdoor challenges, with teams sharing their efforts on Slack to earn points along the way.

Esland is continuing to explore ways to support children who have been missing education due to anxiety, trauma, or complex special educational needs. Every year, Esland in Bloom invites young people and teams across Esland to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on in the garden developing outdoor spaces that celebrate nature, sustainability, and community. The competition is designed not only to brighten our environments but also to encourage teamwork, creativity, and new learning opportunities.
