Esland supports UN SDG Flag Campaign for a third year

Esland is proud to be taking part in the UN SDG Flag Campaign for the third consecutive year, as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) celebrate their 10th anniversary.
The 17 goals, established by the United Nations, aims to drive progress towards a fairer, more sustainable future for all by 2030.
Organised by the UN Global Compact Network UK, the SDG Flag Campaign brings together hundreds of businesses, schools, charities, and public bodies to raise awareness of the goals and the progress being made towards achieving them globally.
On the 25th September, participating organisations fly the SDG flag and engage their communities to highlight the importance of sustainable development.
At Esland, our core purpose is to change children’s lives for the better. We focus our efforts on supporting the SDGs most closely aligned to our mission, this includes:
- SDG1: No Poverty
- SDG3: Good Health and Wellbeing
- SDG4: Quality Education
- SDG10: Reduced Inequalities
- SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- SDG13: Climate Action
Through our day-to-day work and various initiatives, we integrate these goals into everything we do, helping our teams and stakeholders understand the role they can play in supporting a fairer and more sustainable future.
Sophie Bennington, Head of Social Impact and Sustainability said
“Taking part in the SDG Flag Day on the 25th September gives us the chance to stand alongside other organisations across the country and raise awareness of these vital goals. As the SDGs mark their 10th anniversary, it’s also a moment to reflect on the progress made and the work still ahead. At Esland, we’re proud to play our part in building a brighter future for our young people and communities,”.
