Esland Grantham School named STEER Alternative Provision School of the Year 2025

We’re thrilled to share that Esland Grantham School has been named the STEER Alternative Provision School of the Year 2025!
This remarkable achievement celebrates Esland Grantham School’s consistently high-quality use of STEER Tracking throughout the academic year, supporting students through detailed, individual action plans that make a real difference.
Headteacher Suzanne Harvey and Pastoral Lead Sam Melbourne have led the school’s strategic approach to STEER, embedding it into everyday practice to help students thrive. Their leadership has been key to the school’s ongoing success.
Robert Lloyd Williams, Esland’s STEER School Manager, praised the team’s commitment, saying:
“Esland has used STEER so thoughtfully over the last year. They write great action plans for their students that are so detailed and thought through, but what really stands out is the positive impact they are having on their students. They are doing an outstanding job, and praise must go to Sam and Sue for leading on this so expertly and with such passion.”
We are incredibly proud of everyone at Esland Grantham School for this achievement. Their dedication, skill, and care continue to change children’s lives for the better, and this recognition is a testament to their outstanding work.
